Meet the Team | Allie Argenti

This year we’re introducing a series on who makes us Benjamin Obdyke. We want to highlight the people that represent our brand every day by educating the community on what it means to Build Better.

Who is Allie Argenti?

Allie joined the Benjamin Obdyke team in August 2022 and has been a force of nature ever since. As the marketing coordinator at Obdyke, she spends much of her time supplying our greater team with the support materials they need. Additionally, Allie works to keep things running behind the scenes on the marketing side. Whether in our salesforce, content creation, or coordinating and executing our trade show plans, Allie is up for any task. She’s always looking for ways to improve things, ensuring our materials are up-to-date and aligned with our efforts.

You may also find Allie traveling to jobsites to catch some live-action shots of product and installation details and techniques to further educate our audience on social. Have you seen our Instagram? That’s all Allie.

“I love the freedom I have to be creative. This allows me to develop new and innovative ways to develop support materials to help our team educate our audience. Once they’re educated, it comes down to encouraging them to implement some of the best practices to evolve the building science community further,” Allie said. “This industry is constantly growing, leaving a lot of room to create, gain, and spread knowledge—and that’s where Obdyke comes in.”

What is Her Favorite Project?

The culture at Benjamin Obdyke is unmatched, and Allie has found some of her favorite projects tie back to that culture. If she had to narrow it down, one of her favorite activities was working with a local brewery to develop the “Benjamin Obdyke Beer” as a special tribute to one of our longest-standing team members, Rob Young. As Rob’s retirement approached at the end of 2023, the team wanted to focus on how to honor him—and what better way than a custom beer with a dedication to Rob on the packaging? Allie brought many team members together during this process for taste tests and design meetings. Then, once the beer was created, they distributed it to customers to pass along just a tiny part of the Obdyke culture.

What She Looks to Accomplish in 2024

As we dive into 2024, Allie is really looking forward to another year at Obdyke and how she can further help the company reach its goals. Additionally, she’s hoping to bring some new trade show ideas to life.

Here to Help You Transform Your Craft

At Benjamin Obdyke, we strive to help you Transform Your Craft. But what does that mean? For Allie, it means encouraging builders to stay open-minded about new, innovative products and techniques. According to Allie, everyone in this industry is always learning, and within that knowledge comes new opportunities—and if you pay attention to those, you can really Transform Your Craft.

What She Does Outside of Obdyke

You can often find Allie outside, spending time with friends or being a dedicated bunny mom to her beloved Eleanor. Art and design are also big passions for her, and she’s currently working on building out her interior design portfolio.
