Benjamin Obdyke is looking for an energetic, self-motivated marketing coordinator to be “the rock” of our marketing department.  This role is essential to our day to day operations – supporting inbound customer requests, and providing “front-line” phone support for our team.  The role is responsible for managing marketing communication materials such as brochures, samples, and displays; from managing vendors to supplying these tools to the sales team & customers. This role also supports marketing-driven activities such as event planning, tradeshow logistics, promotions, and customer initiatives. Other areas of focus may include CRM administration (Salesforce), social media monitoring, content generation, and more based on interest and business needs.

Must Haves

“there’s nothing we can’t do” attitude, degree or relevant experience in customer service, marketing communications or related field, service-focused, relentlessly positive, and fluent in Microsoft office: Word, Powerpoint, Outlook. Willingness to travel up to 10%, with some overnight travel required for tradeshow support and field work with our sales team.

Ability to take the work seriously, but not yourself.

BONUS POINTS!: event planning and execution experience, building-industry experience, skills in Microsoft Excel and Adobe acrobat, experience with customer relationship management software (CRM), and experience with order entry/ERP systems.
